The vPortal product line is designed to bundle specific features and benefits based on needs and uses of certain types of customers. From the economical vPortal VP-10 to the feature-rich vPortal VP-20, vPortal enables providers to deploy the video portion of the “triple-play,” in a very cost-effective set-top box solution that supports the most advanced open standard video codecs such as H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10) and Windows® Media 9. Each series raises interactive TV to a new level with full featured capabilities and a cost-effective package for the complete IPTV solution. The open architecture of the vPortal product line provides an integrated feature-rich set-top box in a cost-effective, palm-sized product.
vPortal VP-10
vPortal VP-10 is an entry level system that provides a superb quality digital programming to customers over broadband content delivery infrastructure.
vPortal VP-20
vPortal VP-20 provides the same features and benefits of vPortal VP-10, but adds options for video capture, tuner capability, plastic fiber and hard drive.
