Visioneering Corporation is a privately-held company located in the San Diego, California area. The company develops unique digital video technology for a variety of markets and applications including the rapidly expanding internet protocol television (IPTV) and intelligent video security and surveillance markets.

Sonata IPTV™, our main product line serves the Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) markets. IPTV is the new video transmission protocol that represents the blending of seemingly disparate technologies such as broadband internet, voice, data, and video, otherwise known as the “triple play.” It allows digital packets of media data to be transmitted over a broadband connection to a special IPTV set-top box and then viewed on a home television. This gives the home user access to a plethora of video content from which to choose—whenever they want to watch it. This provides a marked advantage over the traditional broadcast paradigm of pre-selected and scheduled video content offered by broadcast TV stations.
